Dr. Gaurav B. is the Founder and Principal Valuer of Transaction Capital LLC, a valuation and financial advisory firm providing independent, standards-based valuation opinions for startups, growth-stage companies, and established enterprises. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst with a primary focus on IRS-compliant 409A valuations and complex valuation engagements conducted in accordance with applicable U.S. tax, accounting, and valuation standards.
Dr. Gaurav holds senior professional credentials including ABV® (AICPA), ASA, CVA® (NACVA), and MRICS, supported by an MBA, Ph.D., and Postdoctoral training in Finance. With over 18 years of professional experience, he has completed approximately 3,000 business and asset valuations and supported more than 50 merger and acquisition transactions across a broad range of industries.
At Transaction Capital LLC, valuation engagements are executed through a structured, multi-level process, combining Dr. Gaurav’s signatory oversight with analytical support from experienced valuation professionals, financial analysts, and subject-matter specialists. Dr. Gaurav prepares and signs valuation reports in accordance with USPAP, AICPA SSVS No. 1, and applicable IRS guidance, intended for use by company management, boards of directors, auditors, legal counsel, and tax advisors, subject to the stated assumptions, limiting conditions, and intended use outlined in each report.
